AAN DAAN

One of the primary causes of hunger across the nation is widespread poverty. More than 21% of India's population lives on less than Rs. 100 per day.

This lack of money makes it so that many cannot get enough of the nutritious food they need. Another cause is a lack of access to food.

At “Aan Daan”, we are creating a platform in combating India’s hunger problem. While we cannot address all of the causes of hunger in India, but with the help of our Samaritan Volunteers, BGC Foundation distribute Food kits to needy people as well as people living in rural areas below the poverty line.

Also through our school-lunch program, we are able to feed poor children going to schools, improving the nutritional status of children, encouraging poor children & belonging to disadvantaged sections to attend school more regularly.
